High and unpredictable mortality of marine fish larvae during the first weeks after hatching remains an unresolved challenge. Evidence supports the hypothesis that harmful interactions between fish and microorganisms are at the root of this problem. With this proposal, we aim to develop a method for the efficient delivery of immunostimulants into seabass eggs through immersion treatment.
